NC Career Outlook Handbook - 2005

The North Carolina Career Outlook Handbook is a look at the present and future of careers in North Carolina. It contains a plethora of charts and tables that communicate the future of careers in many categories. This handbook is the result of extensive annual research by Chris Droessler to create the primary source of career information in North Carolina. This handbook is designed to be a reference for high school and college students in North Carolina.

15,000 copies of the NC Career Outlook Handbook 2005 were printed by the Wake County Public School System at an average cost of 65 cents each. These were distributed to middle and high school students, parents, teachers, employers, elected officials, movie stars, and others.

About the Author

Christopher L. Droessler (dress´ ler) is the School-to-Career Coordinator for the Wake County Public School System. In addition to being a professional educator with a Master's Degree in Technology Education, Chris has experienced a plethora of careers from multimedia projects, technical writing, middle and high school teaching, college teaching, recording music, designing sound reinforcement systems, and selling coffee. These experiences, as well as many others, gives him the unique ability to help our next generation explore all of the many career options and help put them on the path to their own productive and rewarding career.
